About Haypress Falls & Museum...also home to the Nolan Petting Zoo animals!
Come on by... it's FREE!!!

Haypress Falls, A Dream Come True...Having lived around creeks and rivers all of my life, I always wanted to build a water fall. In 2005, we built a 190' long water fall that drops 30' from the top to bottom. It is located North of Apple Creek at Haypress and I would love to share it with all of my friends.
It starts at the top with water falling over three large limestone flat rocks stacked on top of each other. Then down through a trough over a water wheel through another trough and into a satellite dish pool with a 10' windmill on top. Then down another trough into a large pool of water that has water squirting upward and then passing under a walk over wooden bridge that has a metal arch with the words "Haypress Falls"
On top of that arch sits an american eagle. Water continues up through an old yard pump cascading down over rocks into another 8' satellite dish. Then cascading down into waltzing waters and finally ending up at the bottom into a 9' water tank that has gold fish in it.
Mounted on the top of all of this is a 6' lighthouse. Close by is a 14'x40' house boat by Apple Creek.
Drive around our house and see Antique cars, trucks, tractors, and farm machinery of the 50's era.
Come into our museum and learn the history of Haypress, Columbiana Seed Company, old schools, FFA, Sea Shell collection, and so much more.
While at the falls or museum you will hear good ole time country music.
For those of you who have a hard time walking, you can ride by the falls and around my house in your car.
In the summer time our yard is filled with many colors of flowers. Drop by after dark and see everything in colored lights.
The falls opens Memorial day and continues until it freezes over. Christmas time is beautiful come after dark and drive through the light display!
Haypress Falls is also home to the animals from Nolan's Petting Zoo.
Feel free to come by any time and enjoy at your leisure. IT'S FREE!!! There is something for everyone to see...both young & old.
